NEW Practice Protocols & Policies During the COVID-19 pandemic;

Due to COVID-19, all new and existing clients will need to sign a newly required Covid Health Information & Informed Consent document. I will be limiting the number of daily appointments booked, leaving 1 hr between treatments for sanitation protocols. The health and safety of my clients is very important to me. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area, or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact. I respectfully request, and thank you in advance, for wearing a face covering when you arrive for your appointment, and throughout the entire treatment.

Save yourself some time and download a First Time Client Health History Form, as well as the newly required COVID Health Information & Informed Consent to fill out at your convenience before your appointment. Help maximize our time together on the day of your appointment and take some time to read my Policy Statement particularly the NEW COVID19 Protocols and Policies in advance.

Payment is due at time of service. I accept cash, checks, and contactless payment options for all major credit cards, GooglePay, PayPal, and Venmo. Please make checks out to Maria Rhodes. I don't currently provide billing for insurance but would be happy to provide a receipt if you would like one. To be kept in the loop about specials, new services, etc., with seasonal emails, please sign up for my email list.

Customized Therapeutic Massage  Each session is unique, incorporating various techniques tailored to your specific needs. You can add cupping therapy or hot/cold stones if desired.

 

 

Thai Massage Therapy  By combining assisted stretches, rhythmic pressure point work, and deep compressions, a dynamic lengthening of your muscles, increased joint mobility, and opening of energy flow is achieved. Done without oils on a floor mat. Loose, comfortable clothing is worn by the guest during the treatment. 

 

Hot Stone Massage  Smooth basalt river rocks are heated and used as massage tools to allow deep and effective relief of muscle tension. The stones are also carefully placed on key points to allow the warmth to sink in. I also incorporate cool marble stones in contrast to the heat, especially for conditions such as soreness or in areas of inflammation. This is a deeply grounding, nurturing, and relaxing treatment. (90 minutes)

 

 

Cupping Massage Therapy (Manual and/or Biomagnetic) 

Flexible silicon massage cups, and/or biomagnetic acupressure cups, are used to create negative pressure that releases fascial restrictions & trigger points, balances energy flow, and draws out toxins to be flushed out by the lymphatic system. Affects the fluid systems (blood and lymph), and nervous system, in ways that massage can't. Especially useful therapy for chronic tension patterns that seem resistant to other manual bodywork techniques. Can be added as an enhancement to Therapeutic Massage, or received as a stand alone treatment. See cupping specific consent form. 

 

Facial Rejuvenation Cupping Therapy

Special hand-blown glass Bellataza cups are used to lift, tone, and drain excess lymph fluid in the face and neck, resulting in reduced fine lines and a youthful glow. Best results obtained when done in a series of 9-12 treatments, at least once per week. 40 minute sessions $60/session
