NEW Practice Protocols & Policies during COVID19 pandemic

SCHEDULING:

Due to COVID-19, I will be limiting the number of daily appointments booked, leaving 1 hr between treatments for sanitation protocols. The health and safety of my clients is very important to me. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area, or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact. I respectfully request, and thank you in advance for wearing a face covering when you arrive for your appointment, and throughout the entire treatment

NEW INTERACTION & TREATMENT PROTOCOLS

Here are some steps I’ll be taking to minimize risk before, during, and after your session. I thank you for your consideration, and ask that you feel free to ask any questions. We will navigate this together. 

1) You will need to fill out a new liability waiver, taking into account the new risks of receiving hands on bodywork during this time. You will find the form HERE. 

2) I will call the day before to confirm your appointment and ask these pre-screening questions; —Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above?—Do you now, or have you recently had, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath?—Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms, or been out of state visiting an area that is impacted by COVID-19?

3) I ask that you please shower before your treatment, and, if possible, please wear fresh clothing that has not been worn elsewhere in public prior to your arrival. 

4) To protect each other, masks will be required to be worn by both of us throughout our time together, including prone position. Any cloth mask of your own will work. If you forget one, I will have a disposable one available for you. 

5) As a precaution, I will take my own temperature, and yours, before each treatment. 

6) There will be a space for you to leave your shoes outside the treatment room

7) Hand sanitizer will be provided to use before beginning the treatment, and when leaving. 

8) I will allow 1 hr between clients to sanitize the treatment room, treatment table, and all touched surfaces, and to change my clothes

9) There will be an air purifier running during the treatment, which circulates the air in the room every 15 min, and includes a HEPA FILTER, charcoal filter, and UVC light that kills airborne bacteria and viruses. 

10) We will limit talking to the minimal necessary during the session to ensure your comfort and satisfaction with the treatment.

11) For now, we will avoid shaking hands

12) There will be contactless payment options, including for CC payments, and GooglePay & PayPal.  

 

CANCELLATIONS

Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, I have modified my cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to my clients. I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request that you contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations

CONSENT TO TREATMENT

Please understand that because massage therapy work involves maintained touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, and that there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19. When booking a treatment, you acknowledge that you are aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive massage and bodywork from me.
